2020 HBPH Magazine Refresh

CHALLENGE
Refresh the magazine website and email to match the new refreshed look and feel.

SOLUTION
A core tenet of the refresh was improvement by reduction. The focus was to improve the design by removing unnecessary design elements thus increasing the value of the design and content presented to the viewer. This was achieved by removing section headings, read times, and large current issue identification on the new homepage. A focal point was created by redesigning the header to now feature one prominent story to anchor the page. 

These same approaches were carried over to the revamped email template allowing for a greater impact on initial load. This new email template provided the magazine team the ability to promote more stories than ever before, include special sections on an issue-by-issue basis, and highlight stories in more unique ways with the inclusion of quotes and statistics.
