2014 JHPH Magazine Redesign

CHALLENGE
Redesign the website and email to closely resemble the newly redesigned print version of the JHPH magazine.

SOLUTION
The redesign impacted everything from the way the magazine was organized to how it looked to how information was presented to how stories were told. These were reflected in the design, information architecture, user experience, and user interface. The project emphasized a more modern design by using new fonts, new colors, and an atypical grid. Large images played a central role in creating more engaging and visually interesting content. Small, subtle accents were added to provide an additional layer of design such as word counts, a masthead animation, and unique color coordination for each issue.
